My runescape account that I have bought has been Disabled by runescape under suspicion of it being stolen. TLDR Accept the fact you are buying an account with no guarantee it will never be recovered, and purchasing their insurance is a sham for them to make money off of you. I have never had a SINGLE ISSUE with people selling in game GOLD.But you'll also be waiting 7+ days for your refund. You can cancel your order if it goes past the delivery time, sure. As long as they deliver it, it doesn't matter to PA. It doesn't matter how long the ad says the seller has to deliver the item.You need to ALWAYS expect your account can be recovered before purchasing.
Very few of the sellers of massive accounts got the accounts legitimately. Most of the accounts sold are hacked accounts, and this is something you have to accept before purchasing.PlayerAuctions said that even though i paid an extra $40 for lifetime insurance, they cannot prove it was the Seller who recovered/hacked the account and there was nothing they can do. I provided documentation of the email being changed back to the original email it was sold from, the name being changed back to the OG name, the Seller blocking me in PlayerAuctions, and his personal information i was provided. You will NEVER prove it was the original account owner who recovered it.If the seller hacked the account off someone and sold it to you and the OG owner recovers it, you're shit out of luck. Not the person who originally owned the account, not a random person, ONLY the seller. It DOES NOT cover you if the account is hacked/recovered by anybody OTHER THAN the SELLER. 5 of them were recovered, and the one that was not was the one I purchased without insurance.Įach time an account was taken, I filed a dispute that my insurance provided me, and i provided information crediting supporting these statements, and here is what I found out from my multiple experiences I have bought 6 Runescape accounts from here, 5 with insurance. I've been using PlayerAuctions for 4 years, and the "insurance" they sell you is a complete scam. I came across this reddit page today filled with people asking questions about the insurance at playerauctions and protections from "account recoveries," so i'll give you my experience as a consumer on PA and their ability to protect you/return your money/insurance. I don't use reddit much, but I have used PlayerAuctions tons in the past.
